These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of this website, which is operated by Somak Global Solutions - F.Z.C ("SOMAK", "we", "us" or "our"), a Free Zone Company - Limited Liability licensed by the Ajman Free Zones Authority (AFZA) under Licence No. 43577, with its office at Office C1-1F-SF11341, Ajman Free Zone C1 Building, Ajman, United Arab Emirates.

The content on this website is provided for general information about SOMAK and its business activities. It is not professional advice of any kind, including legal, tax, accounting, financial, investment or technical advice, and it should not be relied on as such. You should obtain advice specific to your circumstances before acting on any information on this website.

While we take reasonable care to keep the content accurate and up to date, we do not warrant that it is complete, current or free from errors. Laws, regulations and market conditions change, and articles or insights may not reflect the latest position.

No offer and no guarantee

Nothing on this website is an offer, solicitation or commitment to supply any goods or services, or to enter into any transaction. Products and services are subject to availability, due diligence, applicable law and any required approvals or permits from the relevant UAE authorities.

Regulated services and important notices

• Accounting and tax. SOMAK provides accounting support, audit preparation support and tax consultancy. SOMAK does not provide statutory audit services and does not act as a Federal Tax Authority (FTA) registered tax agent. Where a statutory audit or formal tax-agent representation is required, we coordinate with appropriately licensed professionals.
• Project management. Our project management services relate to business and operational projects only. We do not provide engineering, construction supervision or other regulated project services.
• Legal services. SOMAK does not provide legal services. Management consulting is not legal advice and does not guarantee any government approval.
• Trade and brokerage. We do not guarantee counterparties. Transactions are subject to due diligence, KYC, sanctions and export-control screening, and some goods require import or export permits.
• Watches. SOMAK is an independent watch trader. We are not an authorised dealer of, and are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by, any watch brand or manufacturer.
• Advertising. Advertising services are delivered in line with applicable UAE media regulations. SOMAK does not own media outlets and does not hold an influencer advertising permit.
• Trademarks. Brand names, product names and logos mentioned on this website are trademarks of their respective owners. Any reference to them is for identification only and does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.

Enquiries do not create an engagement

Submitting an enquiry, uploading files or corresponding with us does not create a client relationship, agency, partnership or any other engagement. An engagement begins only when SOMAK and you (or your organisation) have signed a written agreement or engagement letter setting out the scope, fees and terms. Until then, please do not send us confidential information that is not necessary for your enquiry.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website, including text, graphics, layouts, logos and the SOMAK name and branding, is owned by or licensed to SOMAK and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Some images may be used under licence from third parties.

You may view and print pages for your personal or internal business reference. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, modify, distribute or commercially exploit any content without our prior written permission, except as permitted by law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the website in any way that breaches applicable law or regulation;
• submit false, misleading or unlawful information, or impersonate any person or organisation;
• upload files containing viruses, malicious code or content that infringes the rights of others;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or related systems, or interfere with its operation;
• use automated tools to scrape, harvest or extract data from the website without our permission; or
• use the website to send unsolicited advertising or spam.

We may restrict or suspend access to the website, or remove submitted content, where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.

Third-party links

The website may contain links to third-party websites or resources for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link does not imply endorsement. Your use of third-party websites is subject to their own terms.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law:

• the website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis;
• we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on general information on the website, or from interruptions, errors or unavailability of the website; and
• we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit, business or opportunity, arising from your use of the website.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct. Services provided under a written engagement are governed by the liability terms of that agreement.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising from or in connection with them or your use of the website, are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws of the Emirate of Ajman, as applicable. The competent courts of the Emirate of Ajman shall have jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
