Important note
Software and hardware are supplied subject to each manufacturer's licence terms and warranty conditions. Certain technology products, including some encryption and telecommunications equipment, may require import approvals or permits from the relevant UAE authorities; we will advise where this applies.
Do you only supply hardware and software, or do you also build applications?+
Both. SOMAK is licensed for the wholesale trading of computer systems and software and for computer programming activities. That allows us to procure the products you need and, where a packaged product does not fit, to design and develop custom web or business applications around your processes.
How do you make sure the software you supply is genuine?+
We source software and hardware through authorised distribution channels and provide the corresponding licence documentation, invoices and warranty information. We do not supply grey-market keys or unlicensed copies, and we will advise you if a requested product or licence model is not suitable for your intended use.
Can you integrate a new application with the systems we already use?+
In most cases, yes. We assess the integration options your existing platforms support — typically documented APIs, webhooks or structured file exchange — and design data mappings accordingly. Where a platform offers limited or no integration capability, we explain the trade-offs before any work begins.
What does a typical automation project involve?+
We map the current process step by step, identify where time is lost to manual entry, approvals or hand-offs, and agree which steps should be automated. We then configure or build the workflow, test it with your team and document how it runs, so ownership stays with you after handover.
How are projects priced and scoped?+
Each engagement is quoted after a discovery conversation, based on the agreed scope, deliverables and timeline. Procurement is quoted per item or bundle, and development is typically quoted per phase. Any change in scope is discussed and approved in writing before additional work is carried out.
